Los nutricionistas, consideran los frutos secos un superalimento, y recomiendan consumir al menos 50 gr. (un puñado) al día de frutos secos al natural, sin freír. Pero, según las estadísticas, menos del 8% de la población consigue poner en práctica esta recomendación.
Los frutos secos se consideran superalimentos porque su aportación a nuestra salud nos ayuda a cubrir necesidades nutricionales básicas, y contribuir a minorar efectos de dolencias crónicas como la diabetes o la hipertensión.
